Wei Wei Sr. is a Singaporean-based entrepreneur, wine importer, investor and the founder of W2, an international trade business.
PROBLEM
The client bought a family-owned winery that no longer has the backing to continue. They want to keep the integrity and history of the building by turning it into a 50-room hotel that offers cooking workshops, wine tastings, and street and winery tours. They want to stay away from cliches and look different from their competition.
SOLUTION
The brand identity comes from the long history of Tuscany, making sure the brand values delicate, timeless and memorable come through in the visual language through colours and graphic elements, giving the feel of Renaissance and adornment. The logo is inspired by the Etruscan deity Catha – depicted as the daughter of the sun or the eye of the sun – making sure the concept carries through to the UI design of the website.
