CLIENT
LMAO (Laugh More and Often) Festival is an annual comedy festival that brings the comedy community together and aims to challenge, provoke and entertain through social commentary on the modern world.

PROBLEM
The client wanted to capture the essence of the festival through their brand values which are uncomfortable, daring and exposure, while still keeping the entertainment aspect of comedy central and integral to the campaign.

SOLUTION
The design draws from people's personal connection to jokes through black-and-white photography focusing on everyday people. The tone of voice directly speaks to the audience, and the contrast between black and white photography versus brightly coloured typography evokes movement.
